Hydration enhancer Phizz is adding a new product to its growing portfolio. Phizz Daily Immune+ offers hydration-focused immune support, featuring vitamins D, B6, C, A, and E, along with other essential minerals to help the immune system fight infections and maintain overall health.
Launching in an Orange flavour, the NPD will be rolling out from 25th August in Tesco (UK and Ireland), Waitrose, Ocado, and Amazon ( RRP: £9.50 / 20 effervescent Tablets, 84g). Phizz Daily Immune+ is also available from the brand’s website and to independents via wholesalers, including CLF and Pharmaplace, from 1st September.
Dan Cray, Founder of Phizz, said: “Proactive immune support starts with hydration, it’s your first line of defence. When you’re well-hydrated, your body keeps a healthy barrier that helps block germs. If you’re dehydrated, that barrier weakens – making it easier for bacteria to get in. That’s why Phizz tackles hydration first, by tapping into the power of the sodium-glucose co-transporter to hydrate 3x faster than water alone.”.
The launch follows consumer research conducted by Phizz, which shows that whilst 88.5% of people proactively look after their health throughout the year, to ensure they are protected over the winter, 53% wait until they are ill to take health supplements. It revealed that 92% of consumers would like a product that brings hydration and immunity support together, with 86% likely to purchase Immune+.
Cray continued: “Along with the hydration first focus, Phizz Daily Immune+ contains 19 high-quality vitamins and minerals, covering everything from energy release, nerve, brain and muscle physiology, to immune function and nutrient absorption. With key micronutrients that contribute to normal cognitive function and help overcome tiredness and fatigue, Phizz Daily Immune+ is our new wellness superstar, keeping your mind and body at its best and preventing you from feeling run down. Our unique formula also contains powerful antioxidant molecules that combat the harmful effects of free radicals and provide an additional immune boost. The addition of Vitamin D plays a vital role in regulating immune response and helping the body fight infections. With limited sunshine in the UK, it’s important to keep these levels topped up all year round too”.
