Pip & Nut Breaks Into The Protein Category

Pip & Nut is moving into a new category with the launch of its first Protein Bars. Made using the brand’s peanut and almond butters, the bars contain plant-based protein. The launch follows the success of the brand’s Stuffed Oat Bars.

Pip&Nut-Protein-BarsEach Pip & Nut Protein Bar has 10g of nut-sourced protein, double the amount in its Stuffed Oat Bars.

The bars are available in three flavours: Peanut Butter (featuring roasted peanuts with layers of crispy pieces, seeds and topped with Pip & Nut’s peanut butter caramel), Caramel Almond (roasted almonds, seeds, crispy pieces and topped with nut butter caramel), and Dark Chocolate Peanut (layers of roasted peanuts, seeds, and crispy pieces topped with peanut butter caramel).

Pip & Nut’s Protein Bars are palm oil free and are made with natural ingredients.

Pip & Nut Founder Pippa Murray commented: “We’re so excited to get our Protein Bars out there. I really believe these are a gamechanger. Let’s face it, this category is full of bars that taste like nothing or are crammed with ingredients you’ve never heard of – or both. Just like we’ve done in the nut butter aisle, we’re here to change that standard for good – and natural nuttiness is the key.

“Nuts are a great tasting, natural source of protein, & as a brand that knows their nuts, we knew it was time to get to work to make a protein bar full of real ingredients that actually tastes great. We hope you’ll agree that these new snacks are a much-needed addition to the shelves.”

Pip & Nut’s new Protein Bars are available individually (£1.95) and in multipacks of three (£3.95) at Amazon and Ocado from this week.
