Plenish Launches The UK’s First Zero Sugar Oat Drink

Dairy alternative brand Plenish has expanded its range of plant-based drinks with the launch of Zero Sugar Oat M*lk, made with only four naturally sourced ingredients. It is claimed to be the UK’s first zero sugar oat drink with neither oils or additives.

Plenish Zero Sugar Oat MlkRolling out in Waitrose this week, Plenish Zero Sugar Oat M*lk (RRP £2.35) is made using water, gluten-free organic oats, plant-based calcium and salt. By not breaking down the oats into natural sugars like in most oat drinks, Plenish has created a zero-sugar option, “without compromising on creaminess or great taste”.

Russell Goldman, Managing Director, Breakthrough Brands, at Carlsberg Britvic, said: “At Plenish, we recognise the evolving concerns from consumers around making healthier choices, avoiding artificial ingredients, and reducing their sugar intake. It’s about expanding choice within our oat drink portfolio to meet evolving consumer needs.

“We want to make sure retailers are able to provide consumers with healthier alternatives to their favourite products, which is why we’ve ensured that Plenish Zero Sugar Oat M*lk delivers on the same delicious taste, texture, and trust that consumers love, with zero sugar and zero to hide.”
