Pot Noodle Introduces New Consumer-Voted Flavour

Unilever’s Pot Noodle brand is adding a new flavour to its lineup following a consumer vote.

Pot-Noodle Chicken FajitaAfter securing 48% of the vote, Pot Noodle Chicken Fajita will be available in Asda for 12 weeks before rolling out to all major supermarkets and convenience stores from September (RRP £1.20).

Chicken Fajita was up against Pepperoni Pizza and Full English Shoppers in the vote on Pot Noodle’s X channel and via Asda.com in an exclusive partnership tapping into the retailer’s digital marketing shopper data.

The launch follows 2022’s Doner Kebab SKU, which was the brand’s first NPD voted for directly by consumers and became the best-performing NPD within the pot snack market, selling over 2.8m units.

As part of the Asda partnership, Pot Noodle will “bring the fiesta to the aisles” through in-store activity, which includes sampling, themed aisle fins and fully branded Pot Noodle Bays. The retailer will also drive online sales through ads and an online takeover.
