Premier Foods has launched a new Bisto Winter Spice Gravy variant as a Tesco exclusive.
Aimed at “driving excitement” in the seasonings and flavour category ahead of Christmas, the Winter Spice flavour is a combination of warming cinnamon and cardamom. The new gravy (MSSP of £2.99 – 190g) can be used across a number of dishes but is said to pair particularly well with beef dishes.
Premier Foods is also bringing back its seasonal lines across its Bisto, Paxo, and OXO ranges.
“Bisto is already a popular brand during the festive season,” said Mark Alldred, marketing director for flavours and seasonings at Premier Foods. “Over the Christmas period, shoppers can perfect roasts using household brands that deliver on taste and quality. With Bisto, shoppers can upgrade their traditional roasts with festive flavours and following the success of our Pigs in Blankets gravy last year, we are sure Winter Spice is going to be a hit too.”
