PureOaty Unveils First Oat Drink For Tea

Glebe Farm Foods, a producer of gluten-free British oats, has announced the launch of its latest plant-based innovation, PureOaty Tea-rrific. The new oat drink has been crafted specifically to be enjoyed with tea.

PureOaty-Tea-rrificDespite tea being the leading use of milk in the UK, the brand noted that there is a distinct lack of oat-based alternatives designed for tea as other brands in the category have focused on innovating around coffee.

Research shows that the wider adoption of milk alternatives in tea has been hindered by fear of affecting the taste and the colour, as well as concerns around splitting. PureOaty ‘Tea-rrific’ aims to fill this gap in the market with a gluten-free recipe that addresses the taste, colour, and stability issues.

Philip Rayner, Owner and Managing Director of Glebe Farm Foods, said: “We’re incredibly proud to introduce ‘Tea-rrific’ to the market. We saw a clear need for a high-quality, plant-based alternative that could truly enhance the tea-drinking experience. Our team has worked tirelessly to perfect this product, and we believe it will set a new standard for oat drinks in tea. With ‘Tea-rrific’, we’re not just offering an alternative; we’re offering a superior choice that caters to all tea lovers, including those with gluten sensitivities.”

‘Tea-rrific’ will be available from 21st October in Morrisons with an RSP of £2.09 (introductory price £1.50).
