Quorn Unveils New Additions To Deli Range

Meat-free brand Quorn has introduced two new products – Tomato & Basil Deli Slices and Garlic & Herb Deli Slices – both with an RRP of £2.60 (100g).

Quorn-Garlic-&-Herb-Deli-SlicesThe Quorn Tomato & Basil Deli Slices will roll out in Tesco from 28 April, whilst both variants will launch in Sainsbury’s from 7 May and Asda from 19 May.

They will join the brand’s Spinach & Red Pepper Slices, which are currently the only Deli SKU flavour in the market to include veg.

The range is high in protein, low in saturated fat and high in fibre. The Slices can be used for a variety of occasions, such as in sandwiches, wraps, or salads.

Lucy Grogut, Head of Brands at Quorn Foods, said: “Our existing Quorn Spinach and Red Pepper Deli Slices are our secret superhero. As the first, and only, veg inclusion Deli slices in the sector, they are a big loyalty and frequency driver. More than a quarter of shoppers are only buying this product in meat free, which shows they’re a unique entry point for new and incremental consumers. The introduction of, not one but two, delicious new flavours will help bring even more shoppers in, further driving penetration and increasing category opportunities for retailers.

“Deli is a high frequency category, and with almost 6 billion sandwich occasions in the UK, we’re confident that Quorn Tomato & Basil and Quorn Garlic & Herb Deli Slices, alongside our existing Quorn Spinach & Red Pepper, will further strengthen the range and inspire sandwich fans to keep coming back for more.”
