Remedy Kombucha Expands High Street Presence

Remedy Kombucha has announced two new listings, with its Wild Berry, Mango Passion and Raspberry Lemonade flavours now available in WHSmith stores nationwide (250ml; RRP. £1.99); and its Wild Berry kombucha also launching into restaurant group Wasabi (250ml; RRP. £2.45).

Remedy-kombuchaThe launches follow Remedy’s recent launch into Sainsbury’s, where its new Orange Squeeze flavour kombucha is also now available.

Remedy is the kombucha market leader in the UK, with a can or bottle sold every three seconds in grocery; and the third-largest kombucha brand globally. Growing at more than 70% year-on-year, the brand noted that it had driven more growth in the category than all other competitors put together over the past 12 months.

As well as the new listings, Remedy has expanded its presence within Tesco to include 700ml bottles in Raspberry Lemonade and Ginger Lemon – meaning the brand is now available at all three key touchpoints within the market leader: individual cans of Remedy can be found front-of-store, multipacks are stocked ambiently within the soft drink aisle, and 700ml bottles are now to be found within the chilled drinks section.

Anna Dominey, General Manager at Remedy Drinks UK, said: “Awareness of our personal health and wellbeing has vastly increased, which has supported Remedy’s rapid growth within the UK. High street shoppers deserve more than drink options that are full of sugar or artificial sweeteners, and we’re delighted to partner with both WHSmith and Wasabi to deliver this, whilst also continuing to grow our presence within grocery.”
