Robinsons is expanding its cordials range with two new flavours: Elderflower and Ginger & Orange (MRSP £3).
Currently rolling out in the grocery channel, they will join the existing Lime & Mint and Raspberry & Rhubarb variants.
The brand noted that Elderflower and Ginger both account for 41% of all cordial category value sales, showing a clear demand for the new flavours. As well as attracting shoppers, the launch aims to meet the demand from consumers trying to moderate or reduce their alcohol intake. Robinsons stated that offering a range that feels more special will allow retailers to capitalise on emerging consumption trends with interesting alternatives.
Alongside the new flavour launches, Robinsons Cordials has unveiled a pack redesign, which highlights the real fruit used in the drinks. This follows the rebranding of the core Robinsons range last year.
Ben Parker, Retail Commercial Director at Britvic, said: “With in-home social occasions on the rise, our offerings can elevate these nights in with exceptional taste and style. Whether you’re toasting to a special occasion or simply unwinding at home, our flavours offer shoppers choice with great tasting alternatives to alcohol. As a well-known and trusted brand, we can help retailers tap into this shopper behaviour and satisfy shoppers’ thirst for sophisticated flavours.”
