Following the recent announcement of In Good Company as its chosen UK distributor, French drinks brand SASSY Cider is commemorating its 10th anniversary with the launch of a limited-edition 10 Year Calvados in the UK.
Available this month, SASSY 10-Year Calvados is described as a “well-rounded spirit enriched with oak tannins and layered with flavours of baked apples, quince and stewed fruits”. It can be purchased through the official SASSY website and selected retailers.
Xavier d’Audiffret Pasquier, co-founder of SASSY Cider, said: “Our SASSY 10 Year Calvados is a testament to our dedication to tradition and quality. We begin by distilling a youthful, fruity cider aged between 1 to 3 months using a column copper still. This method preserves the cider’s fresh, clean fruit flavours. Our copper still operates continuously, distilling 10,000 litres of cider daily, ensuring a consistent taste profile. With an ABV of 46%, this Vintage 2014 Calvados has matured for 10 years in French oak barrels, developing a rich colour, robust structure, and an elegant finish.”
