Eco-cleaning products brand Seep has been listed in Robert Dyas stores nationally and online.
The home and garden retailer is stocking three products – medium rubber gloves, a turquoise bamboo cloth, and a sponge scourer.
The Seep Sponge is made with renewable materials, including wood pulp and natural loofah fibres, and is claimed to be highly absorbent, long-lasting and durable. 100% compostable, the sponge can be placed in a kitchen composter or garden bin when it needs replacing, which is typically three to four times longer than a regular sponge.
Meanwhile, the All Purpose Bamboo Cloth absorbs more water than paper towels and is long lasting. They can be used wet or dry and are an alternative to microfibre cloths, which can release microplastics every time they are used. Each cloth has a long lifespan of 12 months and will biodegrade or can be composted.
The Seep Fair Trade FSC-Certified Rubber Gloves are made from natural latex and fair-trade rubber. They are fully plastic-free and biodegradable.

Seep aims to prevent 1bn plastic cleaning items from ending up in landfill by 2030 and have already diverted 3.5m items (10.1 tons of waste) from landfills since its launch.
The brand’s founder Laura Harnett said: “I founded Seep as I was frustrated by the amount of plastic in the cleaning aisle and not having any sustainable products to use my eco friendly sprays and detergents with. To be listed by Robert Dyas is fantastic as it’s a huge step closer to everyone being able to choose eco friendly alternatives for their homes.”
