Seven Bro7hers Brewing Co is launching two of its fruit beers into Aldi.
The Salford-based brewery will be listed in 850 Aldi stores in early April with a Watermelon Wheat Beer and Passion Fruit Pale. Both beers have been adapted and branded exclusively for the retailer.
Sold in 440ml cans (RRP £1.79), the Watermelon Wheat Beer (4.5% ABV) and Passion Fruit Pale (5% ABV) are vegan and infused with fruity undertones.
CEO of Seven Bro7hers Brewing Co, Keith McAvoy, commented: “This latest deal has been a fantastic opportunity for Seven Bro7hers to collaborate with a major retailer. We have taken two of our most popular, award-winning beers, and adapted the recipe to make something unique for ALDI customers – working together to ensure we craft delicious beers that tap into their consumer price point.”
Expanding its reach past its in-house webshop, convenience stores and its own bars, in the last two years Seven Bro7hers has grown its listings portfolio. The brewery is currently listed in Asda, Co-op, SPAR, Booths stores, and Amazon.
McAvoy added: “The Aldi deal broadens our audience reach and provides a new channel of drinkers for our beers. The deal solidifies our position as one of the fastest-growing craft breweries in the UK.”
NAM Implications:
- See, there are ways for branded suppliers to work safely with Aldi…
- (and calling it market research could make it politically safer in-house)
- A retailer with 9.9% share and growing at 25% could be a missed opportunity…see here
