Unilever-owned Simple is expanding its serum range to include a 10% Ceramide Boosters & Omega Complex Booster Serum. The new product is formulated to fill a gap in the market for barrier repair serum options.
The brand stated that the new serum offers consumers a reason to trade-up with an “affordable and effective product that is designed to visibly nourish and restore skin across all skin types, whilst educating consumers on the benefits of a multi-step skincare regime”.
This is the first time Simple has included its patented ceramide boosting technology and omega complex in its serum collection. Powered by 2.5% patented ceramide boosting technology, the new serum is said to moisturise and penetrate deeper layers of the skin to support ceramide production from within and help improve the skins’ barrier function. The 7.5% brand-first omega complex seals in moisture to soothe and strengthen the skin barrier, while the addition of niacinamide (vitamin B3) promotes a soft and healthy-looking complexion.
Simple’s 10% Ceramide Boosters & Omega Complex Booster Serum is rolling out in Superdrug, Boots, and Amazon (RRP £7.99).
