Symbol group SPAR has entered the flavoured spirits market with the launch of a new own-label raspberry flavoured vodka spirit.
Adam Georgiou, Senior Brand Manager for Own Label Beer, Wine, and Spirits at SPAR UK, said: “We are proud to introduce our new own label raspberry flavoured vodka, which extends our extremely popular own-label vodka range. Flavoured vodka is a growing sector of the spirits’ market and within the category, raspberry has proven to be the consistent crowd favourite.”
According to market research conducted by SPAR, raspberry vodka currently commands 37% of the flavoured vodka market. With SPAR’s own-label Imperial Vodka performing “exceptionally well”, the group expects its new raspberry vodka to be a bestseller.
Georgiou added: “Our own-label British-made spirit has been distilled five times and filtered three times to guarantee a smooth mouthfeel and clean, fruity flavour. We know this is a great, exclusive own label product for our independent SPAR retailers and stores as we move into the summer holidays. It is price marked at £14.99, which will prove appealing to customers looking for a great quality and value spirit.”
SPAR raspberry flavoured vodka (RSP: £14.99) is rolling out in stores this month. The launch is being supported in-store with POS and graphics, internal and external communications, and digital comms.
