Homethings, a challenger brand focused on sustainable home care, has announced two new retail listings with Whole Foods and Booths.
Both chains will list all eleven products from Homethings’ eco-friendly cleaning range from this month, including its three refillable sprays (Allthings, Baththings and Shinythings), new bio and non-bio laundry tabs, and “world-first” powder-to-gel washing up liquid.
Securing its first retail listing with Waitrose back in April last year, Homethings took the first step into supermarket retail in a bid to make refillable cleaning products more mainstream.
Until now, Waitrose listed Homethings exclusively across its 232 stores nationwide, and Homethings continued to sell its products direct to consumers via its website.
Tim Keaveney, co-founder of Homethings, commented: “Both WholeFoods and Booths are renowned for their focus on high quality, ethical and sustainably sourced products. Launching into these two retailers is testament to our focus on ensuring we manufacture the most innovative and eco products on the market in the most sustainable way.
“Both retailers over-index with Eco-Active shoppers who are proactively looking to make better, more sustainable product choices and to get rid of single-use plastic in their homes. It’s incredible to see that retailers are responding to the call for greener and more planet-friendly listings – not just in home care but across the board. For us, our mission remains the same today as it did on day one – to change the way the world cleans – and our new listings are the next step in our journey towards that goal.”
