Tapp’d Cocktails has secured a listing for its ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails with Unitas Wholesale.
The deal with the buying group will support the growth of Tapp’d Cocktails by expanding the brand into the wholesale market as the consumer demand for RTD cocktails continues to grow.
Tapp’d Cocktails has already had success in the UK, with strong D2C sales and a trial launch into Morrisons in East Anglia, which is set to expand nationwide in 2023. In terms of the on-trade, the cocktails are available in over 15,000 UK pubs.
Having originally launched five years ago as bottled RTD cocktails as a more premium offering, the brand has expanded into the canned market to target younger drinkers and increase availability at more portable occasions such as festivals.
Tony Plato, MD of Tapp’d, said: “This significant agreement unlocks over 60 independent wholesalers for Tapp’d – allowing our drinks to be sold across the UK and in turn supporting our clear ambitions of creating the UK’s No.1 RTD brand.”
Martin Spivey, Trading Controller at Unitas, added: “We are really pleased to have reached an agreement with Tapp’d and look forward to seeing their great range of RTD cocktails landing with our Members and gaining distribution across the market”
