Plant-based meat alternative company THIS has launched two new products in the supermarket channel, THIS Isn’t Chicken Breast, and a first-to-market frozen product, THIS Isn’t Beef Mince.
Available exclusively in Tesco, THIS Isn’t Chicken Breast (180g pack of two) retail at £3.50. The plant-based chicken alternative is high in protein and made using soy and pea proteins. It can be cooked in the oven or pan-fried.
Meanwhile, 280g frozen packs of THIS Isn’t Beef Mince will launch exclusively in Morrisons next week at £3.00. Made from soya protein, the plant-based beef-flavoured mince is high in protein and low in saturated fat. Following the success of the brand’s chilled mince format, it was reformulated to be suitable for freezing, joining the existing THIS frozen range that includes chicken pieces, tenders and pork sausages.
