Volvic has expanded its flavour portfolio with the reintroduction of Cherry to its Sugar Free Touch of Fruit range.
Volvic Touch of Fruit Cherry has launched with an RRP of £1.35 in Morrisons, with listings in Tesco (w/c 14th April), Asda (28th April) and Sainsbury’s (May 2025) to follow. It will also be rolling out in wholesale and convenience stores from April onwards.
Previously available until 2021, the return of Cherry to the range is a response to strong consumer demand for products in this flavour. The move also taps into the growing momentum in the soft drinks market, where cherry-flavoured variants have seen a 6% increase in sales over the past year, particularly among younger and millennial consumers.
Volvic Touch of Fruit saw strong growth of 10% year-on-year in 2024, with new flavours boosting demand in the category.
“With cherry a trending flavour of the moment, we’re thrilled to relaunch this flavour to meet this increased demand,” said Rachael Hann, category director of beverages UKI.
“We know that great-tasting products are a key driver for consumers. That is why we go to great lengths to select delicious flavours to encourage healthy hydration.”
