Warburtons has launched two brand new NPDs – Gluten Free Soft Brown Pittas and Gluten Free Seeded Tiger Bloomer.
The company noted that it has continued to invest significantly in the gluten free category. The Warburtons brand holds the top spot in the Free From bakery category, with sales increasing by 17.1% year-on-year compared to market growth of 1.5%
The new Soft Brown Pittas (RRP £3.00) and Seeded Tiger Bloomer (RRP £3.50) are fully gluten, wheat and milk free. They are rolling out in all major retailers.
Both new products complement Warburtons’ broader gluten free range, including bloomer loaves, rolls, wraps, pittas and crumpets.
