Costcutter Hails Success In Shopper Satisfaction Survey

Costcutter has come top on every shopper satisfaction measure in the renowned HIM Convenience Tracking Programme (CTP).

The recently published survey, which took place in the first three months of 2020, scores convenience stores across speed of service, ease of shop, staff friendliness and helpfulness and community involvement, as well as product range, availability and quality.

Costcutter stores scored higher than any of their competitors on every measure and recorded the highest basket spend.

Mike Hollis, Retail Director for Costcutter, said: “These survey results are testimony to the outstanding performance of our retailers, creating a platform for our continued growth and success throughout 2020.”

Blonnie Walsh, Head of Insight at HIM, added: “Our Convenience Tracking Programme comprehensively covers the shopper trends impacting the convenience retail market. Based on over 20,000 shopper interviews each year, we are able to benchmark retailers across a range of KPIs.

“Costcutter shopper satisfaction and overall advocacy shows marked improvements from 2019 to 2020. Improvements have been seen across the board, but shopper satisfaction in product quality and value for money are key drivers behind Costcutter having the highest NPS score in Q1 2020.”
