Costcutter has confirmed that its current fuel levy charges will be reduced from today in line with its commitment to “supporting retailers and helping them maintain profitability”.
The symbol group introduced a fee for deliveries in March last year after facing higher fuel costs and disruption caused by the pandemic and lorry driver shortages.
In a statement issued on Friday, a spokesperson for Costcutter said: “We have seen fuel prices fall over the last quarter and remain consistent and therefore, we are pleased to announce that we will be reducing the fuel levy charges accordingly to £610 + VAT per delivery”.
Costcutter has also confirmed that it will continue to support retailers by paying back charges on behalf of those who meet a spending commitment of £10,000 per week and achieve rebate criteria until further notice.
