McColl’s Chief Operating Officer To Retire

McColl’s Retail has announced that, after 23 years at the company, Dave Thomas is standing down from his role as Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect.

The convenience retailer said he will remain available in a consultative capacity until 6 April 2020. It added that it does not have any immediate intention to replace Thomas’ position on the Board.

Jonathan Miller, Chief Executive, commented: “On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Dave for the enormous contribution he has made to the company during his time here. Over the years he has played an important role in helping to build McColl’s into a leading convenience retailer and we wish Dave all the very best for the future.”
