Nisa Adds New Learning Element To Upcoming Trade Show

Nisa’s upcoming annual trade show (24-25 March) is offering attendees a new opportunity with ‘Category Talks’ added to the agenda for the first time to support Nisa retailers in growing their businesses.

The short workshops, hosted by heads of category from the Co-op commercial team, will include presentations sharing the latest insights, market and shopper trends in Beers, Wines and Spirits and Food to Go categories.

Events manager at Nisa, Jenny Potts said: “The Category Talks are new for 2020 and are designed to help Nisa partners increase cash profit in key trading categories and will include ranging and merchandising recommendations.”

The talks will be held in the main exhibition hall and are bookable via the Nisa Expo registration site.

NAM Implications:
  • Given the high investment cost of DIY category management…
  • …this template-approach has to be of benefit to Nisa customers.
  • i.e. whilst the proposed catman strategies may be a little less focused than a bespoke approach…
  • …Nisa customers will be spared the cost of initial research.
