Nisa has become the latest grocery retailer to partner with Just Eat to grow its presence in the on-demand delivery channel.
Shoppers can now order items from their local participating Nisa convenience store for delivery in as little as under 30 minutes via the Just Eat app and website.
Retailers will be provided with in-store marketing support, including shelf talkers, posters and window and door stickers, to promote the service.
John McNeill, Chief Operating Officer at Nisa, said: “Nisa stores provide a quick and easy retail offering to communities across the UK so to team up with Just Eat to provide another platform for delivery was an obvious decision to make.
“With home delivery now forming a crucial part of many convenience businesses and making up a core part of the customer offer, we wanted to ensure we were providing our retailers with as many options as possible to increase sales opportunities from this avenue.
“The partnership will open up further opportunities for retailers to enhance their offering for shoppers, and we are delighted to start working with Just Eat.”
The grocery estate on the Just Eat platform already covers over 2,500 sites, with the firm working with the likes of Asda, Sainsbury’s, Co-op, One Stop, and Iceland.
NAM Implications:
- For Nisa retailers, access to a proven player in home delivery.
- For Just Eat, additional coverage and critical mass.
- One to watch.
- And participate in, for suppliers in appropriate categories…
