Nisa’s annual trade show has today opened for registration by retailers and suppliers.
The convenience group’s popular event was originally due to take place on 24 & 25 March but was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. With large gatherings still banned, it was confirmed early this month that the Nisa Expo 2020 would be taking place through a virtual platform on 20th and 21st October.
The group has stressed that the event will still include all the usual features of its normal exhibition held at Stoneleigh, together with some additional interactivity that is made possible by it being virtual.
The Expo will still provide the opportunity for suppliers and retailers to “interact, help each other grow their businesses, strike deals and learn more about the benefits of being part of the Nisa/Co-op group of companies.”
The agenda will include opportunities for one to one supplier meetings, virtual store tours, special deals, category insights and interaction with Nisa staff, retailers, and suppliers.
Nisa events manager Jenny Potts said: “We’re really pleased to be opening registration on Monday. The interest we’ve received so far from partners, suppliers and Nisa colleagues is really encouraging and we’re excited to be able to offer our very first virtual Nisa Expo which promises to be a fantastic event with a great line-up.”
Further details about the virtual Nisa Expo will continue to be revealed over the coming weeks with all information available on a dedicated website.
