One Stop Celebrates Wins At The Retail Industry Awards

One Stop secured two wins at this year’s Retail Industry Awards 2022 held in London last week. The Tesco-owned retailer won the ‘Convenience Retailer of the Year’ award as well as ‘Multiple Community Retailer of the Year’ award, beating major competitors within the industry.

One Stop Managing Director, Sarah Lawler commented: “It’s been a remarkable year for us at One Stop and we’re absolutely thrilled that our efforts have been recognised by two such prestigious awards.”

Throughout this year there have been several important milestones at One Stop, with the retailer opening 65 new One Stop stores and significantly strengthening its online presence. One Stop became the first grocery retailer available on the three leading delivery platforms of ‘Deliveroo’, ‘Just Eats’ and ‘Uber Eats’. Most One Stop stores now offer at least one online delivery platform option to customers. Lawler said: “We have worked hard to put the building blocks in place to enable this success and we are feeling excited for our future.”

The company has also refreshed the retail environment of their stores with new point of sale, which has created a more” cohesive and modern look” across its portfolio. Lawler added: “This has enabled us to reflect that we are a ‘go to’ brand for fresh and grocery items. Shopping needs are evolving and products that would traditionally have required purchasing further afield at larger supermarkets, are now available on customers’ doorsteps.”
