Aldi Cuts More Prices Ahead Of Father’s Day

Aldi has lowered the prices on a range of items ahead of Father’s Day weekend.

Shoppers will benefit from lower prices on BBQ essentials, including Marinated Pork Loin Steaks, Spare Ribs, and Large Prawns.

Wines such as the Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon and Specially Selected Prosecco Treviso are also included in the latest reductions, with prices dropping by up to 10%.

Earlier this year, Aldi pledged to cut more prices than ever before in 2024 to reinforce its value commitment amid tough competition from its rivals.

“Just in time for Father’s Day, we’re slashing prices on a range of items that will be a perfect addition to any family gatherings this weekend,” said Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK.

“Customers know the only place you get Aldi prices is at Aldi, and we’re more committed than ever to remaining the UK’s cheapest supermarket.”

Last week, consumer group Which? named Aldi as the UK’s cheapest supermarket for May – making the discounter undefeated in the monthly rankings so far this year.
