Aldi has revealed that it is looking to recruit more than 1,700 new workers for its UK warehouses by the end of the year.
The move forms part of the discounter’s expansion plans, which include opening an average of one new store a week between now and Christmas.
Jobs on offer include full and part-time positions at Aldi’s regional distribution centres.
Kelly Stokes, recruitment director at Aldi UK, said: “As we continue to grow and attract new shoppers, we need even more amazing colleagues at our distribution sites to make everything possible.
“As well as healthcare and lifestyle perks, being part of the Aldi team means a great working environment. With it being an exciting time for the business, there are also real opportunities to progress.”
Last month, Aldi revealed that it expects to create more than 800 jobs in new stores between now and Christmas, with it close to achieving its long-term goal of having 1,000 outlets in the UK.
