Deliveroo Expands Further Into Health & Wellness Market

Deliveroo has announced a new partnership with Healf, a fast-growing wellbeing company that is targeting sales of $100m by the end of 2025.

The move marks Healf’s entry into on-demand delivery, giving Deliveroo customers across London the ability to order from a range of brands specialising in holistic health and wellbeing, such as Artah, Ancient + Brave, Bare Biology, and Form Nutrition.

Having recently closed a fundraising round, Healf is hoping to drive further growth in the UK through its expansion into on-demand with Deliveroo. The company noted that the new partnership will enable it to reach new and existing customers through an additional channel, tapping into Deliveroo’s seven million average active monthly users.

The company joins a growing roster of health and wellness retailers using Deliveroo. Since 2024, the delivery platform Deliveroo has seen 238% growth YoY in the sale of vitamins and supplements and over 180% growth in personal care items.

Suzy McClintock, VP of new verticals at Deliveroo, commented: “We’re excited to welcome one of the fastest-growing wellbeing brands in the UK onto the platform as we continue to expand our health and wellness offering. Deliveroo’s partnership with Healf means their carefully curated menu of high-quality products are available to more people, at a faster rate than ever before.”

Sam Baldwin, business-to-business lead at Healf, added: “At Healf, our mission has always been to empower wellbeing through providing access to the best brands in the world. With our ambitious targets of reaching $100m in revenue by the end of 2025, partnering with Deliveroo is an exciting step in our growth journey, helping us scale our impact and bring our carefully curated range to more customers, with faster fulfilment.”

Healf is using Deliveroo’s new virtual store concept, which launched earlier this year with Ann Summers and Maplin Electronics. The service enables retailers to create branded virtual storefronts within the Deliveroo app, with all products housed and delivered from Deliveroo HOP stores, offering rapid delivery.

NAM Implications:
  • Quick delivery is all about saturation coverage…
  • …in order to optimise per drop profitability.
  • So anticipate Deliveroo seeking to increase the range of offerings.
  • (thus Healf’s initiative should not be a surprise…)
  • So too any other company wishing to reach new and existing customers through an additional channel.
