Zalando, a leading online platform for fashion and lifestyle products, is teaming up with global beauty retailer Sephora to create the “ultimate online prestige beauty destination” for consumers across Europe.
The partnership aims to bring together Zalando’s customer experience and e-commerce expertise with Sephora’s assortment of several thousand beauty products from more than 300 brands. Starting in Germany during the fourth quarter of this year, the joint venture will then be rolled out to more of Zalando’s markets during 2022.
Sephora operates in 35 countries with 2,000 stores globally, including more than 1,000 in Europe. Meanwhile, Zalando has around 42 million active customers in 20 markets across Europe. Together, the company’s will create an extensive online beauty offer for Zalando customers.
