IGD’s Economics team has released its Big Picture Snapshot – the outlook for food and consumer goods businesses, providing a view of what the future holds.
The report considers a range of economic indicators and latest forecasts viewing them through the lens of the food and consumer goods industry to unpick the implications. The first in a series of reports looks at how quickly the economy will recover; the impact of the pandemic on household incomes; and if inflation is a risk to recovery.
