Sephora Confirms Location For Another New Store

LVMH-owned cosmetics retailer Sephora has revealed that it is planning to open its seventh UK store in Kent’s Bluewater shopping centre this winter as it pushes ahead with its expansion plan.

Sephora-store-westfieldSephora returned to the UK market after an 18-year absence in March last year with a 6,000 sq. ft. flagship space inside the Westfield London shopping centre in White City. A second outlet opened in December in Westfield’s Stratford City site, and a third opened in Manchester’s Trafford Centre in May.

In recent weeks, the retailer has revealed that it will open two stores in Newcastle’s Eldon Square and Metrocentre in Gateshead this autumn, as well as one in Birmingham’s Bullring.

Sephora UK Managing Director Sarah Boyd said: “We are thrilled to continue this momentum of our rapid growth by opening Sephora stores in key shopping destinations such as the iconic Bluewater shopping centre.

“We have loved seeing the enthusiasm and appetite from our customers around the UK of where they would like us to show up, inspiring us to roll out more of our ‘beauty playgrounds’ and unparalleled shopping experiences to some of the nation’s most beloved retail destinations such as Bluewater.”
