LVMH-owned cosmetics retailer Sephora has revealed that it is planning to open its eighth UK store in Liverpool as it pushes ahead with its expansion plan.
The 6,700 sq. ft. unit will debut in spring 2025 and be based in retail and entertainment destination Liverpool One.
“We have had immense demand from our fans in Liverpool to open a store in their city,” said Sephora UK’s Managing Director Sarah Boyd.
“Liverpool has been a key location in our brand expansion plans, and we were prepared to wait for the right opportunity, which this prominent Liverpool One unit provides.
“As we prepare to welcome both new and existing customers, we are looking forward to creating a truly memorable and enchanting shopping experience at Liverpool One, in an exciting store format that reflects the spirit of the city.”
Sephora returned to the UK market after an 18-year absence in March last year. It now has stores in Manchester’s Trafford Centre, Newcastle’s Eldon Square and MetroCentre, and London Westfield’s White City and Stratford City shopping centres.
Two more stores will launch at Birmingham’s Bullring and Kent’s Bluewater Shopping Centre this winter.
