Sephora Reveals Plans For Store In Birmingham

LVMH-owned cosmetics retailer Sephora has revealed that it is planning to open a store in Birmingham’s Bullring shopping centre this winter as part of its ongoing expansion across the UK.

Sephora returned to the UK market after an 18-year absence in March last year with a 6,000 sq. ft. flagship space inside the Westfield London shopping centre in White City. A second outlet opened in December in Westfield’s Stratford City site, and a third recently opened in Manchester’s Trafford Centre.

The retailer has also revealed that it will open two stores in Newcastle’s Eldon Square and Metrocentre in Gateshead this autumn.

Commenting on the latest store announcement, Sarah Boyd, Managing Director of Sephora UK, said: “We’ve once again harnessed the power of listening to our customers to shape our expansion plans around the UK, and the appetite that our beauty community in Birmingham made was profoundly powerful.

“The demand we have seen on social media and customer enquiries, particularly on the back of the Manchester opening and Newcastle announcements, has been phenomenal, and we are thrilled to announce that we will be welcoming Birmingham customers in the iconic Bullring in winter 2024.”
