Superdrug is bolstering the attractiveness of its Health & Beautycard loyalty scheme again by providing members exclusive early access to its Black Friday deals from today.
The retailer noted that the move aimed to help cash-strapped shoppers looking to spread the cost of Christmas this year.
Simon Comins, Superdrug’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Our focus for Black Friday this year is to provide our customers with the best deals for as long as we can. We have committed to making this Christmas affordable by running our Black Friday offers for four weeks starting from 1st November for Health & Beautycard Members and then opening offers up to everyone from 15th November, to help shoppers make the best of their festive budgets and treat their friends and family this Christmas.”
Last month, Superdrug added a ‘VIP’ level to its loyalty scheme that rewards shoppers who spend more with the retailer.
NAM Implications:
- Anything that makes the shopper feel special has to appeal…
- Add a discount that might help to kickstart Christmas spending…
- And cross-fingers…
