The Perfume Shop To Test New Store Concept

The Perfume Shop is set to introduce two new concept stores to support its expansion plans.

The-Perfume-Shop-BoutiqueDue to open this summer, the shops at the Brent Cross and Lakeside shopping centres will offer high-quality and niche perfumes with a more personalised and exclusive shopping experience.

The Perfume Shop stated that the launch of the ‘Boutique’ format will be a pivotal moment for the business and aligns with the growing consumer interest in luxury perfumes.

Gill Smith, Managing Director, said: “This concept is a bold step forward in our mission to bring the world of luxury and niche perfumes to a wider audience, while still delivering the expertise, accessibility, and service we’re known for.

“We know customers are increasingly looking for more personalised and premium scent experiences, and these new spaces allow them to truly explore and connect with perfume in a unique and elevated way.

“It’s an exciting evolution for our business and one that we’re proud to lead as we continue to grow and innovate.”

NAM Implications:
  • The Perfume Shop appears to be prepared to put their money where their mouth is…
  • …based on their belief in the growing consumer interest in luxury perfumes.
  • And being retail, ‘try it and see’ has to be a good strategy.
  • Time for appropriate suppliers to climb aboard?
