The Fragrance Shop has posted record annual results, supported by the opening of a flagship store on Oxford Street and 13 other new sites, alongside the launch of the UK’s first AI scent creation machine.
For the 12 months to 1 April 2024, the retailer saw its like-for-like sales climb 6.1% and overall business growth of 9.4%.
The Fragrance Shop now operates 223 stores across the UK, with plans to surpass 300 sites over the next three years, as well as rolling out to international markets.
Chief Executive Sanjay Vadera said: “I’m very proud of the year we’ve had at TFS. Launching an experiential flagship store on Oxford Street that immerses our customers in a world of luxury and niche fragrances, as well as the UK’s first ever AI scent creation machine, Every Human, has been a great success.
“We’ve also seen incredible growth within our membership program, MyTFS, which is now a thriving community of over one million members and have continued to expand our retail footprint across the UK with 13 new stores.
“This year, we will be celebrating a huge milestone – 30 years in business! We have plans to expand our store portfolio even further across the UK, as well as delivering continued growth of our MyTFS and scentaddict programs.
“We are already a CPD accredited business for all of our education programs and are now focusing on achieving ISO9001, which is the standard for quality management systems. This supports our ambition to grow into international markets.
“It’s a very exciting year ahead for us.”
