Disaronno International UK, the newly-formed subsidiary behind the Disaronno and Tia Maria liqueur brands, has announced the appointment of Miranda Osborne as its new Category and Marketing Director.

The hire follows the launch of the UK subsidiary earlier this year by Italian parent company Illva Saronno, which signalled the end of a 20-year distribution and marketing partnership with William Grant & Sons UK.
Osborne has extensive experience in the drinks industry. Most recently she held the role of Brand Director at Molson Coors where she responsible for national campaigns and collaborations including Carling’s ‘Made Local’. Osborne also held a Brand Director positions at Perrigo and GlaxoSmithKline as well as senior roles at Nestlé and Mediacom.
In her new role, she will be responsible for building on the brand presence of Disaronno and Tia Maria, as well as launching a series of new innovations which the company hinted at earlier this year. The first of which was Disaronno Velvet, a cream liqueur that launched in May.
Neil Jardine, Managing Director of Disaronno International UK, said: “This is a very exciting time as we build our new UK subsidiary, and to be able to attract talent like Miranda is hugely gratifying. She has chosen the perfect time to join as we accelerate our plans to establish the footprint for our business. Miranda will play a key role in the leadership team, where her brand experience will put us in a very strong position as we look to the future.”
Osborne added: “I’m thrilled to be joining Disaronno International UK as the Category & Marketing Director. It’s a great privilege to support the setup of the UK subsidiary and to be on board at the start of the journey. I look forward to working side by side with our customers and to be the custodian of these stunning brands.”
