Disaronno’s New UK Subsidiary Completes Management Hiring’s

Disaronno International UK has announced the addition of two new hires to lead its finance and supply chain divisions.

Fabio Ferino has been appointed as Finance Director UK with overall responsibility for the finance, customer service and order management activities. He has previously worked in finance roles at Vodafone, BT, and a number of consumer drinks brands including Pernod-Ricard and William Grant & Sons.

The appointment completes the full senior executive team ahead of the UK subsidiary becoming fully operational in January. Disaronno International UK will take over all operations from William Grant & Sons and will be in charge of marketing, sales and finance from next month.

Ferino said: “Our core brands Disaronno and Tia Maria have seen incredible success this year and we plan to continue this success into 2021 with strategic business plans for the brand. I’m incredibly excited to join the team and make the new subsidiary a success.”

Meanwhile, Simon Prior, reporting to Ferino, joins as Head of Supply Chain UK as the brand looks to “drive value and reduce its environmental impact”. He brings over 20 years of experience within various roles at Tesco including category supply chain manager for beers, wines and spirits.

Prior will be responsible for creating efficiencies within the supply chain and reduce the company’s environmental impact. He added: “I’m thrilled to join the team before the subsidiary launches officially next month. We’ll be in full control of our distribution and we’ve been working to create a sustainable supply chain model going into 2021.”

Neil Jardine, Managing Director of Disaronno International UK, added: “The new hires complete a very strong team which I’m very proud to have built. Their skills and expertise put us on track for a very successful first year as our UK subsidiary comes into full force and we start the exciting journey of ramping up our brands presence in the UK. “
