Cornish pastry brand Ginsters has appointed Stephanie Hildon as its new Managing Director.
Currently the Chief Executive of Langmead Herbs, she will take up the role on 7 May, replacing Sam Mitchell, who is moving to become the MD for the Savoury Pastry category at Samworth Brothers.
Hildon has held the role at Langmead Herbs since February 2018, after 25 years in commercial roles selling products ranging from baby food to sofas.
During her time at Langmead Herbs, Hildon almost doubled its value, growing it from a £13m business to a £24m business. She achieved this through a combination of winning new retailer contracts and improving operational efficiencies.
In a statement, Ginsters said: “Stephanie brings with her a passion and energy for driving the vision of the business, for product innovation and for building strong customer relationships. Stephanie is enthusiastic about working with the team at Ginsters to continue to accelerate the brand’s growth.”
Hildon added: “I am thrilled to be taking on the role of MD at Ginsters. It’s a phenomenal brand with a rich history and a firmly established position as category leader. Recent work from the brand has been incredible and has delivered real cut through and I can’t wait to join the team and be part of the brand’s continuing success.”
