My Fabulosa Ramping International Expansion After Securing Funding Package

My Fabulosa, the Cheshire-based manufacturer of fragrance-led cleaning products, is planning for further international expansion after securing an eight-figure funding package from HSBC UK.

Fabulosa-all-purpose-cleanerFollowing “significant” sales growth in European markets in 2024, My Fabulosa is utilising funding from the bank to invest in new automated machinery and production capabilities.

With two production lines already in operation at the manufacturer’s Nantwich facility, the installation of a third fully automated line is set to increase production up to four times its current capacity. The automated machinery will also enable a higher rate of recyclable packaging production.

As a result of this investment, the business is forecasting an increase in turnover of 25% year-on-year.

The expansion is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to supply cleaning products to key markets, including the Netherlands, France, Germany, and Poland. Additionally, My Fabulosa is planning to utilise HSBC’s support to supply customers via new online channels, with a long-term aim of entering the US market.

James Sharpe, the company’s founder, commented: “HSBC UK’s support is helping us reach key milestones in My Fabulosa’s growth journey, enabling us to expand into new international markets, while continuing to deliver our diverse product range to customers worldwide. With increased production capacity, we’re well-positioned to meet growing global demand.”

Zubayr Atcha, global relationship director at HSBC UK, added: “We’re proud to support My Fabulosa as it accelerates its growth strategy. The investment in new machinery is a vital step in helping the business scale up production, expand into overseas markets, and continue meeting rising customer demand.”
