Budweiser Brewing Group, AB InBev’s UK & Ireland subsidiary, has appointed Brian Perkins as its new President.

He takes over from Paula Lindenberg, who is stepping down due to “family reasons”.
Perkins has worked for AB InBev since 2011 and has held several senior roles including VP and Head of Sales, Marketing and Digital Transformation for EMEA, Co-founder and Head of Growth for B2B and VP of Global Sales for the Premium and Super Premium brand portfolio. The group highlighted that he brings a wealth of experience in marketing, commercial strategy, finance, disruptive growth, innovation and B2B technology.
Perkins has been promoted from his current role of Zone Europe Commercial and Marketing VP. He will now be responsible for the brewer’s UK and Ireland portfolio, which includes Budweiser, Bud Light, Corona, Stella Artois and Camden, and will also lead its Spanish business.
He will report to Jason Warner, AB InBev’s Zone President for Europe.
The Budweiser Brewing Group has seen strong demand for its brands in recent times in line with consumer trends for premiumisation. Last month, the business agreed on a 20-year deal to become the largest beer supplier across the JD Wetherspoon pub estate.
“I am thrilled to be leading the UK & Ireland Business,” said Perkins. “We dream big at ABI and nowhere is that more true than in the UK; with our winning, premium portfolio we have the potential and the means to not only create huge shared value for our customers and partners but also to elevate the entire category.”
