Pladis, the company behind brands including McVitie’s, Jacob’s, Carr’s and Flipz, has appointed Mario Reis as its Chief Supply Chain Officer. He will be responsible for “leading the global supply chain agenda” across all markets in which the company operates.
Reis has more than 30 years of international supply chain, procurement and management consulting experience. He joins Pladis from beauty giant Coty, where he was the Chief Global Supply Chain Officer. Prior to that, he held senior positions with Danone and Mars.
“Mario brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Pladis,” said CEO Salman Amin. “His vast experience leading the end-to-end Supply Chain in large, global businesses means he will be a great asset to our team as we build on our excellence across our markets. We’re absolutely thrilled to have him on board.”
Reis added: “I am delighted to be joining Pladis, as I have long admired the company for its portfolio of cherished brands, its strong position in global snacking, its presence across so many geographies, and I look forward to working with the team and its partners to continue to drive Pladis success.”
