Sales Of Irish Whiskey Hit As Up To 400 Jobs At Risk

Irish whiskey doubled yearly sales to 137 million bottles – 11.4 million cases – between 2010 and 2019, figures published on Friday show.

However, William Lavelle, chief executive of the Irish Whiskey Association, says Government restrictions that have closed pubs and duty free shops around the world threaten sales growth.
