Vinarchy, the global wine business created by the recent merger of Accolade Wines and Pernod Ricard Winemakers, has announced the appointment of Amanda Almond as Regional Managing Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective 1st September.

She will replace Derek Nicol, who is stepping down to “pursue other opportunities”.

“Amanda is known for her commercial acumen and strong leadership, alongside her passion for growing premium brands and high-performing teams,” said Vinarchy Executive Chairman Ben Clarke.
“She brings a great mix of industry knowledge, strategic thinking and people-first leadership. Her experience and energy will be a great asset as we continue to grow our presence across EMEA.”
Almond added: “I am thrilled to be joining Vinarchy at such an exciting time for the company. I look forward to working with the EMEA team and our valued customers across the region to grow our amazing portfolio of brands and drive the wine category forward.”
The business comprises a range of leading wine brands, including Hardys, Campo Viejo, Jam Shed, Jacob’s Creek, and Brancott Estate.
