Chicken fillets have increased by at least 20% in four of Ireland’s leading supermarkets while the cost of milk, cheese and bread has also significantly increased since Russia invaded Ukraine in late February.
In the past eight months, groceries have continued to soar across the country. A survey by the Irish Independent has found that meat and dairy products are seeing the biggest increase.
