Co-op Brings Back Online Wine Tastings

Co-op has re-introduced its online wine tasting sessions, aimed at boosting the profile of winemakers and helping its members learn more about wine.

The free sessions, which were first trialled during the initial Covid lockdowns, exclusively cover the Co-op own brand range. The sessions cover two different wines each month and are hosted by the winemakers as well as a member of Co-op’s wine buying team.

Members can book for the sessions through the Co-op Membership website and receive a Zoom link to join the event on the day. Participants will also get advance notice on which wines will be featured.

Sarah Benson, wine buyer at Co-op, said: “We’re fiercely proud to work with some of the world’s finest winemakers for our own-brand range, and we’re thrilled to offer our members exclusive access to learn first-hand how our wines are produced. We know our virtual tastings were incredibly popular during those lockdown days and wanted to bring this back in response to demand.”
