Waitrose has rolled out offers that are available to members of its loyalty scheme to the Uber Eats platform.
By linking their MyWaitrose and Uber Eats accounts, shoppers will now receive the same discounts and promotions that run in-store and online with their on-demand orders.
The move comes amid a growing appetite for on-demand shopping for Waitrose food and drink, where products can be delivered in less than 30 mins. Last year, sales via Waitrose’s three on-demand grocery partners – Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat – were up 110% on the previous year.
Waitrose began offering products on Uber Eats in July 2023 from five London stores, and it now offers up to 18,000 products from over 250 outlets across the UK.
Laura Burbedge, Director of Waitrose Online, said: “Our on-demand partnerships have enabled us to bring our quality products to new food-loving customers. We now want to provide greater value to customers ordering via Uber Eats. To start making savings, customers just need to link their My Waitrose account to their Uber Eats account.”
Alex Troughton, Regional General Manager of Grocery and Retail at Uber Eats UK and EMEA, added: “Our partnership with Waitrose is all about combining quality with convenience, and now, with offers for MyWaitrose members, we’re adding even more value to the experience.”
