Retail data firm Reapp has added Waitrose to the list of UK retailers available on its AI-driven insight platform.
Reapp Insights aims to help brands and retailers understand what products are selling, where and when. Through the use of artificial intelligence, Insights utilises factors such as temperature and trends to help inform decisions at the shelf edge.
The company noted that brands in Waitrose stores can now understand performance across the estate at store and SKU level, as well as garner the ability to react to underperformance of promotional activity live within the cycle of a promotion.
The system helps brands ensure shelves are stocked at all times through peak periods, as well as being able to track NPD sales, with the ability to identify non-selling stores.
Waitrose joins other retailers available through Reapp Insights, including Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Co-op, Poundland, and Marks & Spencer.
James Lamplugh, Reapp’s Commercial Director, said: “We are on a mission to give brands and retailers all of their homogenised data in one place, for them to take advantage of – and drive sales from.
“After the recent onboarding of Marks & Spencer, Waitrose is now the eighth major retailer on our Insights platform, and we look forward to welcoming more brands who want to make use of our cutting-edge data technology.”
NAM Implications:
- Making a difference for eight key players should be enough to attract the remainder to Reapp.
