Sainsbury’s is offering members of its Nectar loyalty scheme 25% off over 500 of its ‘Taste the Difference’ products. The promotion, which runs until 7th October, marks 25 years since Sainsbury’s launched the premium own-label range.
Products included in the promotion include Taste the Difference Lasagne, Taste the Difference Pistachio & Choc Cookies and baked goods. A range of Taste the Difference main dishes, including Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese and Chicken and King Prawn Paella, as well as frozen items like Salmon Wellington, will also be 25% cheaper for the next couple of weeks.
Sainsbury’s revealed that in the 25 years since the launch of Taste the Difference, the most popular product overall has been its Vittoria Cherry Vine Tomatoes. Meanwhile, Taste the Difference Madagascan Vanilla Custard was the top dessert this year after seeing a 30% YoY uplift in sales. Taste the Difference Colombian Origin Instant Coffee was the winner in the coffee category, while sales of its Taste the Difference Valencia Orange Lollies in the frozen category increased by 109% this year.
